Building relationships

One thing I’m curious about with this app is if people will develop friendships with other people. I hope people do! I want to facilitate that as much as possible, which is why a future version of the app may make it easier for people who want wake up calls to speak with the same “caller” each morning. This would allow those two to develop a deeper connection, one that may stretch across continents. Of course, some people may prefer variety and there’s nothing wrong with that, but I’m willing to bet some people will enjoy the consistency and familiarity that comes with talking to the same person each day.

First things first, however. We’re getting very close to launching the app and I’m super excited to see if anyone will use it. Time will tell.

If all goes well and I start to hear from people about wanting the chance to connect with the same person each call, I will get to work on designing and building a feature that will allow people to do that, at least as often as possible 🙂
